Emerald Bay – Emerald Bay in Laguna Beach is one of the finest beach communities here in Orange County and probably the most breathtaking in all of Southern California. Emerald Bay has a very Mediterranean feel to it like the south of France where you will see countless boats parked in the bay in the summer time. The community is strictly prohibited from the general public and entrance is very difficult with no access to Emerald Bay beach by non-residents.
Irvine Cove – This beautiful beach is only accessible via the private community of Irvine Cove. The two parts of the beach are separated by a rocky point that has a tunnel for passing through during very low tides. Popular activities include all water sports, surfing, body surfing, skin and scuba diving, and skim boarding. Major rip currents can develop. Surfing is done mainly at the southern end of the cove with most swimmers staying towards the middle to enjoy the water.
Crystal Cove – Crystal Cove State Park has 3.2 miles of beach and 2,400 acres of undeveloped woodland, which is popular for hiking and horseback riding. The offshore waters are designated as an underwater park. Crystal Cove is used by mountain bikers inland and scuba divers underwater. The beach is popular with swimmers and surfers. Visitors can explore tide pools and sandy coves.
The Village – The Village homes area consists of homes in the central downtown and south part of Laguna Beach that is within walking distance to the beach and the downtown shopping and restaurants in Laguna Beach. The Village area has a unique flare and personality as a lot of the homes tend to be older homes with all the charm and personality of a Laguna Beach cottage home.
Crescent Bay – Crescent Bay is a large cove about 1/4 mile in length. It is located in the north end of Laguna where Cliff Drive intercepts North Pacific Coast Highway. The beach is a sandy stretch with rocky areas at the north and south ends. Off the north point there is a large rock about 120 yards off shore called Seal Rock because of the seals and sea lions that take refuge there. Swimmers and kayakers are not allowed on the rock and should stay away from any marine mammals in the area.
3 Arch Bay – Three Arch Bay is A Beachfront & Oceanfront Community located on the south side of Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California. This luxury gated community contains some of the original Laguna Beach homes that were built back as far back as the 1920’s! These larger and grand style homes were built as oceanfront and ocean view estate homes. The natural landscaping is breathtaking here with large cliffs, natural sandy beaches, soft crashing waves and great sunsets!
